Hey there! Thanks for dropping by karenhesseblog! Take a look around and grab the RSS feed to stay updated. See you around!
it’s easy to imagine the sunlit path on the other side.
But by simply changing your angle of approach,
an entirely different scene will reveal itself to you.
How often do you find yourself trying to view a scene or character from a different angle in order to share it with readers just the way you want? WITNESS is an excellent example of looking at situations from the points of views of many characters.
What a good question. I often try to shift my point of view as I’m writing and revising, walking, in a way, in the shoes of my characters. It gives me more of a sense of actually living inside the world of the fiction. Makes it three-dimensional inside my head, if that makes any sense.
An evocative photo – what is on the other side? Should I approach this way?
