I attended the University of Maryland.

Every day at college was like living in a spring garden. All around me were colors, textures, scents, tastes, sounds. It was often too much to take in at once. And sometimes the thorns seemed to be all I noticed.

But I had extraordinary instructors and fellow classmates who kept the classes fresh, challenging, exciting. I made friendships that have endured over the years, learned skills I continue to utilize, and developed a profound love of learning.

College was pretty good, I’d say. Pretty good, indeed.
