change your routine. If you normally go to the movies at night, go to a matinee. Walk through the neighborhoods of a town you usually drive straight through. If you’re a morning person, try shifting to night activities. Eat foods you’ve never tried, break out of a clothing or hair rut, engage strangers in conversation. The brain grows accustomed to doing things a certain way. Turn that wonderful piece of equipment inside your head upside down and see what shakes out.
