I’ll be signing NIGHT JOB, reading from the book, and visiting with readers at Everyone’s Books on Elliot Street in downtown Brattleboro on Saturday, November 10th, 2018 at 11 in the morning.
I hope to see you there.
P.S. Don’t be deceived by this back door view of the bookstore taken years ago. It is warm and welcoming and chock full of excellent books, calendars, and anything else a reader might want or need.
Hi Karen, I am the daughter-in-law of Minna (Avrutin) Morley, Harry’s sister. I am also a school nurse in Somerville MA, just 5 min. outside of Boston. I have always been an avid reader, and read young adult books when my 3 children were in school because I wanted to know what they were reading (and also that they actually DID the reading LOL). I spent some very nice time with Lucy & Harry’s daughter Alice. We spoke of the book and I began to follow your blog. After receiving today’s message, it just seemed that I should reach out and say hello & that I truly admire your work. I hope to have a chance to say hello in person some time if / when you come to Boston! Warmly, Maureen MacCarthy

Dear Maureen, Thank you so much for reaching out. I loved hearing about our familial connection and about your reading adventures with your children. It would be lovely to meet some day and remember, the road goes both ways…With all best wishes, Karen
